August, 2009 - East Orleans Medical Center Project Receives Approval
Working with the Orleans Parish Hospital Service District A and many different groups in the community, Methodist Health System Foundation, Inc. has been spearheading an effort to bring hospital services back into the area. There are many steps still to come for this hospital to be a reality, but we are pleased to announce that the Secretary of the Department of Health and Hospitals has approved the East Orleans Medical Center project.
